Turin born double bassist, trained at Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” and Siena Jazz University, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in jazz double bass. His path is rooted in the African American tradition in music, whose language, history and legacy are an essential foundation of his musical language. Building on this foundation, his research moves toward a dimension that transcends idiom, where sonic gesture and improvisation become the center of musical expression.
